Dale is a 1979 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration. Prior to his investment career Dale practiced as a Certified Public Accountant and continues to hold an inactive CPA license and is an Associate Member of the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Dale’s community involvement includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors of Clinic With A Heart, a Lincoln-based organization dedicated to offering medical care to uninsured or underinsured individuals.

An avid, low-handicap golfer, Dale is a member of Hillcrest County Club where he is a member of the Board of Directors and past president.
